Job Description

We are seeking a skilled SAP ABAP Developer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and optimization of SAP applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in ABAP programming, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

About the Role

- Write, test, and debug ABAP code based on functional specs.
- Develop RICEF objects: Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms.
- Debug issues and resolve support tickets.
- Collaborate with functional analysts to clarify requirements.
- Participate in code reviews and unit testing.
- ABAP core syntax and basic object‑oriented ABAP
- Report programming, Dialog programming
- Interfaces (IDOC, RFC) and Smart Forms/Adobe Forms basics
- Debugging & troubleshooting techniques

Key Responsibilities

- - Develop and maintain custom ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and workflows (RICEF).

- - Analyze functional requirements and convert them into technical specifications.

- - Work on classical and interactive reports, module pool programming, and dialog programming.

- - Create SmartForms, Adobe Forms, and SAP Scripts

- - Develop and debug custom objects using Object-Oriented ABAP.





- - Enhance standard SAP applications using user exits, BADI, BAPI, and Enhancement Points.

- - Work with IDocs, ALE, RFCs, and Proxy interfaces (if applicable).

- - Collaborate with SAP functional teams (MM/SD/FI/PP/etc.) to resolve issues and implement new functionalities.

- - Perform code reviews and follow best practices and naming conventions.

- - Support Unit Testing, SIT, and UAT with defect fixing.

- - Document technical specifications and development objects.

Requirements

- - 2–6 years of experience in core SAP ABAP development.

- - Proficiency in ALV reports, module pool programming, and data dictionary.

- - Solid experience with enhancements (User exits, BADIs, BAPIs).

- - SmartForms, Adobe Forms, SAP Scripts.

- - Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP) is a must.

Key Skills

- - Fiori/UI5, RAP

- - CDS Views and AMDP.

- - Workflow.

- - Good knowledge of ABAP on HANA (preferred but not mandatory).

- - Understanding of SAP functional modules like MM, SD, FI, or PP.

- - Basic experience in interfaces – IDOC, RFC, BDC, BAPI.
