Job Title: Software Development team lead

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly capable and results-driven Team Leader to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of AI-driven web application projects. The ideal candidate will bring a strong command of modern web technologies, excellent stakeholder management skills, and a proven ability to deliver complex software projects on time and within scope. You will act as the bridge between business objectives and technical teams, ensuring high-quality outcomes across the full software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Execution

· Define project scope, goals, timelines, milestones, and resource requirements in alignment with business objectives.

· Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and work breakdown structures (WBS).

· Manage full project lifecycle from initiation through closure using Agile, Scrum, or hybrid methodologies.

· Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, dependencies, and blockers.

Team & Stakeholder Management

· Lead cross-functional teams comprising frontend/backend developers, UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and DevOps personnel.

· Facilitate daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and stakeholder review meetings.

· Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication.

· Manage client expectations, gather requirements, and translate them into actionable development tasks.

Technical Oversight

· Oversee projects built on MERN stack, Python, PHP Laravel, and deployed on AWS cloud infrastructure.

· Collaborate with architects and tech leads to ensure technical decisions align with project goals and timelines.

· Review sprint deliverables for quality, completeness, and alignment to requirements.

· Drive adoption of best practices in CI/CD, code reviews, and cloud deployment.

Reporting & Process Improvement

· Maintain project dashboards and generate regular status reports for leadership.

· Track KPIs including velocity,



burn-down, defect density, and on-time delivery rates.

· Continuously refine delivery processes to improve team efficiency and project predictability.

· Document lessons learned and contribute to organizational knowledge base.

Requirements & Skills:

Education & Certification

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM (Certified Scrum Master), or equivalent project management certification is highly preferred.

Experience

- 5–6 years of hands-on experience managing software/web application development projects.
- Demonstrated track record of delivering projects involving AI/ML-driven applications or intelligent web platforms.
- Prior experience working with MERN Stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js) or Python-based backend projects.
- Exposure to PHP Laravel-based projects and understanding of MVC architecture.
- Experience managing cloud-based deployments on AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, CloudFront, etc.).
- Project Management & Tools
- Strong proficiency in Agile/Scrum frameworks; experience with Kanban is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with PM tools: Jira, Trello, Asana, Monday.com, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with collaboration and documentation tools: Confluence, Notion, Google Workspace.
- Comfort using version control dashboards: GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket for release tracking.
- Experience with reporting tools and dashboards for project tracking and executive visibility.

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
