Production Planning & Execution

- Support preparation and execution of daily, weekly, and monthly production plans
- Ensure achievement of production targets as per PPC schedule

Monitor shift-wise production and productivity

2.2 Process Control & Shop Floor Management

- Ensure adherence to process flow, work instructions, control plans, and SOPs
- Monitor critical process parameters and ensure process discipline
- Ensure 5S, housekeeping, and shop-floor discipline

2.3 Quality Assurance (Production Interface)

- Ensure production output meets quality standards and customer requirements
- Support reduction of rejections, rework, and scrap
- Coordinate with Quality for in-process inspections and corrective actions
- Support customer complaint investigations and 8D actions

2.4 Manpower & Shift Management

- Allocate manpower across shifts for optimum utilization
- Monitor attendance, overtime, productivity, and discipline
- Identify skill gaps and coordinate training with HR

2.5 Safety, Health & Environment (SHE)

- Ensure compliance with safety rules, PPE usage, and safe work practices
- Support implementation of safety initiatives and accident prevention

Report and investigate near misses and incidents

2.6 Equipment & Maintenance Coordination

- Coordinate with Maintenance for preventive and breakdown maintenance
- Ensure availability and proper use of machines, tools, jigs, and fixtures
- Minimize downtime and improve machine utilization





2.7 Cost Control & Productivity Improvement

- Monitor material usage, wastage, and cycle time
- Support OEE improvement, kaizen, and lean manufacturing initiatives
- Ensure optimal utilization of resources

2.8 Documentation & Reporting

- Maintain production records, reports, and shift logs
- Ensure proper documentation as per ISO / IATF requirements
- Prepare and submit production MIS reports

2.9 Audits & Compliance

- Support internal, customer, and certification audits
- Ensure closure of audit observations related to production
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and statutory requirements

3. Authorities

The Assistant Manager – Production is authorized to:

- Allocate manpower and assign work within shifts
- Recommend overtime, shift changes, and leave (as per policy)
- Stop production in case of quality or safety risk and inform seniors
- Initiate corrective actions for process deviations
- Recommend training, disciplinary actions, and improvement suggestions

Communicate operational issues to cross-functional teams

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
