Role: Technical Support Executive

Experience: 3+ Years

Location: Bangalore (Onsite)

Notice: Immediate Joiners / Less than 15 Days

Key Responsibilities:

Storage Support:

- Monitor and support enterprise storage systems (SAN/NAS).
- Perform basic provisioning (LUNs, volumes, snapshots).
- Handle storage alerts, capacity monitoring, and performance issues.
- Assist in storage migrations and upgrades under senior guidance.

Backup & Recovery:

- Monitor backup jobs and ensure successful completion.
- Troubleshoot failed backups and restore requests.
- Perform file-level and VM-level restore operations.
- Maintain backup schedules and retention policies.

Virtualization Support:

- Support virtualized environments including VM provisioning.
- Monitor VM performance, CPU, memory, and disk usage.
- Assist in VM snapshots, cloning, and migrations.
- Work with virtualization teams during incidents and maintenance windows.

Incident & Ticket Management:

- Handle incidents, service requests, and change requests via ITSM tools.




- Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues.
- Escalate complex issues to L3 teams/vendors.
- Maintain documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles.

Required Skills & Technologies

Storage

- Basic knowledge of SAN/NAS concepts
- Experience with any of the following:
- Dell EMC
- NetApp
- HPE

Backup Tools

- Hands-on experience with:
- Veritas NetBackup
- Veeam
- Commvault

Virtualization

- Experience with:
- VMware (ESXi, vCenter)
- Basic understanding of Hyper-V or other virtualization platforms is a plus

Operating Systems & Tools:

- Basic administration of Windows / Linux servers
- Familiarity with ITSM tools like ServiceNow, Remedy, or similar
- Understanding of networking basics (IP, DNS, VLANs)
