Should be technically strong.
Assist the Nursing Superintendent in developing and implementing policies, procedures, and standards for nursing services at the hospital.
Monitor and evaluate the quality and effectiveness of nursing care, and initiate corrective actions as needed.
Supervise and mentor the nursing staff, and provide feedback and guidance on their professional development.
Conduct regular audits and inspections of the nursing units, and ensure compliance with the accreditation and regulatory requirements.
Manage the nursing budget, and allocate resources and equipment as per the needs of the hospital.
Coordinate with other departments and external agencies, such as medical, pharmacy, laboratory, administration, and insurance,



to ensure smooth and effective delivery of patient care.
Handle and resolve any issues or complaints related to nursing services and escalate them to the Nursing Superintendent as appropriate.
Participate in quality improvement and research activities and keep abreast of the latest trends and developments in nursing.
