Role Summary

We're looking for an Excel-savvy operations executive to own and maintain our internal reporting, catalog data, and project-tracking systems. This role sits at the intersection of data hygiene, process automation, and cross-team coordination — ideal for someone who treats Excel as a serious tool, not just a spreadsheet.

Key Responsibilities

- Build, maintain, and continuously improve Excel-based tracking systems (e.g., project management sheets, catalog trackers, order/dispatch logs)
- Design formulas, dashboards, and pivot-based reports for sales, catalog, and operations teams
- Maintain data accuracy across product catalog sheets (SKUs, specifications, pricing, finish variants) per company data standards
- Automate repetitive workflows using advanced formulas, macros/VBA, Power Query, or similar tools
- Create clickable, user-friendly sheets (e.g., email/WhatsApp trigger links, dropdown-driven forms) for non-technical teams




- Cross-check and reconcile data between Excel systems and other internal tools
- Generate weekly/monthly MIS reports for leadership
- Troubleshoot and fix broken formulas, formatting, or structural issues in shared sheets

Required Skills

- Advanced Excel proficiency — mandatory: VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, pivot tables, conditional formatting, data validation, nested formulas
- Working knowledge of macros/VBA or Power Query (preferred, not always mandatory)
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy discipline
- Basic understanding of e-commerce, retail, or catalog operations (preferred)
- Comfortable working with large datasets and cleaning messy data
- Good written communication for documenting processes

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Commerce, Business, Engineering, or related preferred)
- 0–2 years of experience; freshers with demonstrable Excel expertise (certifications, portfolio, or test performance) are welcome
- Prior internship/project experience involving spreadsheets, MIS, or data reporting is a plus
