Hiring: Cosmetic Skincare Formulator (M.Sc Chemistry)

We are looking for a passionate and cutting-edge Cosmetic Skincare Formulator to join our growing skincare brand team. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge in cosmetic science, ingredient functionality, and hands-on experience in developing science-based skincare formulations.

Job Title

Cosmetic Skincare Formulator

Experience Required

- Minimum 3 Years Experience in cosmetic/skincare formulation

Educational Qualification

- M.Sc Chemistry (Mandatory)
- Additional certification in cosmetic science is an advantage

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and formulate science-backed skincare products including:
- Serums
- Creams
- Face washes
- Sunscreens
- Moisturizers
- Anti-ageing & brightening products
- Research active ingredients and innovative cosmetic technologies
- Conduct formulation trials, stability testing, and compatibility studies
- Ensure formulations comply with cosmetic regulations and safety standards
- Work closely with branding and marketing teams for product positioning
- Source and evaluate raw materials from suppliers
- Maintain formulation records, batch documentation, and SOPs




- Improve existing formulations based on customer feedback and market trends

Required Skills

- Strong understanding of:
- Cosmetic chemistry
- Emulsions & surfactants
- Preservative systems
- Active ingredients
- Stability testing
- pH balancing
- Experience in science-based skincare formulation
- Knowledge of Indian cosmetic regulations and labeling standards
- Ability to independently create formulations from concept to production
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Experience

- Experience with:
- Clinical actives
- Natural formulations
- Anti-ageing products
- Brightening formulations
- Sunscreen development
- Experience working with premium skincare brands is a plus
