2D ARTIST (GENERALIST)

Job Description:

The 2D Artist will be responsible for creating 2D game concepts, animations and assets for our games. The candidate will need to ensure visual elements created are in-line with the art direction. You will closely work with the team in creating the high quality assets.

Requirements:

- Strong illustration and artistic skills
- High level of vision and creativity
- Proficient in character design and background designs with a good sense of color theory
- Ability to work with a broad range of styles
- Expertise in 2D frame by frame animations
- Experience in User Interface/Experience design and animation is a plus
- Able to use digital inking and rendering methods
- Experience and proficiency working with Photoshop or similar software
- Good knowledge of market games is a plus
- Passionate about game development and video games
- Comfortable in a start-up culture and fast sprint work style
- Solid problem solving and communication skills
- An understanding of Unity3d and prior industry experience is a plus
