Job Description – Draftsman

Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman with 6–7 years of experience in architectural drafting and coordination. The candidate should have strong knowledge of architectural drawings, working drawings, detailing, and coordination with design and execution teams. The role requires proficiency in drafting software and the ability to prepare accurate technical drawings as per project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

* Prepare detailed architectural and interior working drawings.

* Develop plans, elevations, sections, and detailed drawings based on design concepts.

* Prepare GFC (Good for Construction) drawings and shop drawings.

* Coordinate with architects, interior designers, consultants, and site teams for drawing updates and revisions.

* Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, local regulations, and industry standards.

* Maintain drawing records, revisions, and documentation systematically.

* Assist in quantity estimation and material detailing when required.

* Conduct site visits for measurement verification and drawing coordination.





* Resolve drafting and technical issues during project execution.

* Ensure timely submission of drawings as per project schedules.

Required Skills

* Strong knowledge of architectural drafting standards and construction detailing.

* Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.

* Knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, or other drafting software will be an added advantage.

* Good understanding of architectural, civil, and interior drawings.

* Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and layouts.

* Strong coordination and communication skills.

* Attention to detail and accuracy in drawings.

* Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects.

Qualification

* Diploma / Degree in Architecture, Draftsmanship, Civil Engineering, or related field.

* 6–7 years of relevant experience in an architectural or interior design firm.

Preferred Candidate Profile

* Experience working on residential, commercial, or mixed-use projects.

* Practical knowledge of site execution and coordination.

* Self-motivated and team-oriented qualified with problem-solving skills.

Pay: ₹10,007.16 - ₹37,888.56 per month
