Supply Planning_Outsourcing Channel
Key Responsibilities:
Supply Planning & Inventory Management
Develop and execute supply plans to ensure optimal product availability across the India market.
Translate demand forecasts into feasible supply plans while balancing inventory and service levels.
Monitor inventory health and drive actions to minimize stock-outs, excess inventory, and obsolescence.
Lead monthly supply reviews and contribute to the S&OP;/IBP process.
Outsourcing & Contract Manufacturing Management
Manage supply planning activities across third-party manufacturers and loan license manufacturing (LLMs).
Monitor production plans, capacity allocation/utilization, and material availability to ensure on-time deliveries.
Coordinate with procurement partners to mitigate supply risks and resolve operational challenges.
Drive performance reviews with stakeholders against agreed KPIs.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner closely with Demand Planning, Procurement, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Finance, and Commercial teams.
Ensure timely communication of supply constraints, risks, and mitigation plans.
Support product transfers, portfolio rationalization,
and lifecycle management activities.=
Risk Management & Continuous Improvement
Identify potential supply chain risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies.
Lead initiatives to improve planning process efficiency.
Drive supply chain optimization and digital transformation projects.
Establish governance mechanisms and planning best practices across the outsourcing network.
Performance Management & Reporting
Track and report key supply chain metrics including:
Service Level / OTIF
Inventory Days of Supply
Material Availability
Backorders
Inventory Write-offs
Develop dashboards and management reports to support business decision-making.
Work Experience
4-6 years of relevant experience in Pharma,FMCG,Retail or Consulting.
Proven experience in Supply Chain Planning, Digital transformation, Process Excellence.
Hands on experience with planning tools such as Kinaxis, O9, Blue Yonder, SAP IBP and BI tools.
