About Us: OM Construction is a growing company with expanding infrastructure and manufacturing operations in Chhattisgarh. We are looking for a highly experienced and reliable Senior Accountant to take complete, independent ownership of our financial bookkeeping, billing, and day-to-day accounts management.

Key Responsibilities :

End-to-End Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate, up-to-date daily financial records, cash books, and general ledgers using standard accounting software platforms. Billing & Quotations: Draft professional client quotations, proforma invoices, and process finalized, GST-compliant billing.

Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage and verify vendor bills, track daily operational/site expenses, and process timely payments. Follow up on outstanding receivables. Statutory Compliance: Independently calculate monthly GST liabilities and TDS deductions. Prepare all necessary data and coordinate directly with our Chartered Accountant for timely return filings and annual audits.

Banking: Handle daily bank reconciliations,



manage cash flow tracking, and oversee multiple accounts. Reporting: Generate weekly and monthly MIS reports on expenditures, profits, and outstanding balances for management review.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

Experience: Minimum 5+ years of hands-on accounting experience. (Candidates with a background in construction, contracting, or manufacturing preferred).

Education: B.Com / M.Com degree. (CA-Inter candidates are highly encouraged to apply). Software Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in computerized accounting systems and MS Excel.

Taxation Knowledge: Strong, practical understanding of Indian tax regulations, specifically CGST, SGST, IGST, and TDS rules.

Work Style: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and fully capable of managing the accounts department independently without needing step-by-step supervision.
