Qualification

- ITI / Diploma in Civil Engineering / Masonry / Relevant Construction Trade preferred

- Candidates with robust practical experience in finishing works will also be considered

- 3 – 8 years of experience in high-rise building construction with finishing works

Role Overview

The candidate will act as a frontline site supervisor responsible for supervising finishing activities at site. The role involves monitoring labour teams, coordinating with subcontractors, and ensuring proper execution of blockwork, plastering, putty works, and other finishing activities required for completion of core and shell works.

The position will work closely with Finishing Engineers, Tower Incharges, and subcontractors to ensure finishing works are completed as per drawings, quality standards, and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

Finishing Site Execution

- Supervise blockwork, plastering, putty works, and related finishing activities at site.

- Ensure finishing works are carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and instructions from engineers.

- Monitor daily finishing progress across assigned work areas.

Supervision of Labour & Subcontractors

- Manage and supervise mason teams, plaster teams, and finishing labour.





- Ensure proper deployment of manpower, tools, and materials for finishing works.

- Maintain discipline and productivity among finishing teams.

Work Coordination

- Coordinate with Finishing Engineers and Civil Execution Teams for proper sequencing of finishing works.

- Ensure finishing works start only after structural work areas are ready for execution.

- Report execution issues, delays, or site constraints to engineers.

Quality Monitoring

- Ensure finishing works meet required workmanship and surface finish standards.

- Monitor block alignment, mortar joints, plaster thickness, and putty finish quality.

- Identify defects or poor workmanship and inform engineers for corrective actions.

Safety Compliance

- Ensure safe execution of finishing activities at site.

- Ensure workers follow site safety procedures and use required PPE.

Daily Reporting

- Provide daily updates on finishing progress, labour strength, and material requirements.

- Inform engineers about material shortages, labour issues, or execution challenges.

Technical / Functional Skills

- Practical knowledge of blockwork, plastering, and finishing construction activities

- Experience handling mason and plaster labour teams

- Basic understanding of architectural drawings and finishing details (preferred)

- Ability to manage multiple finishing work fronts

Preferred Skills

- Strong labour supervision and coordination skills

- Good understanding of finishing workmanship standards

- Ability to work in fast-paced high-rise construction environments

- Practical problem-solving ability at the site level
