Assistant Quality Manager – Roles & Responsibilities

Assist the Quality Manager in implementing, maintaining, and continually improving the Laboratory Quality Management System (QMS).

Ensure compliance with ISO 15189:2022, NABL requirements, and applicable statutory and regulatory guidelines.

Prepare, review, update, issue, and control quality documents such as SOPs, policies, manuals, forms, and records.

Maintain the master list of controlled documents and ensure obsolete documents are withdrawn from use.

Coordinate and participate in internal quality audits as per the approved audit schedule.

Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for identified non-conformities and monitor the implementation and effectiveness of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).

Maintain and monitor the Incident, Accident, Near Miss, and Non-Conformity Registers.

Coordinate Internal Quality Control (IQC) and review quality control records for all laboratory sections.

Monitor External Quality Assurance Scheme (EQAS)/Proficiency Testing (PT) performance and ensure timely submission of results.





Coordinate investigations and CAPA for unsatisfactory EQAS/PT performance.

Monitor laboratory quality indicators such as TAT, sample rejection rate, customer complaints, critical alerts, and equipment downtime.

Assist in preparing and analyzing quality indicator reports for Management Review Meetings (MRM).

Coordinate Management Review Meetings and monitor the implementation of action items.

Conduct risk assessments and maintain the laboratory Risk Register.

Ensure calibration, preventive maintenance, and performance verification records of equipment are maintained.

Verify reagent inventory, expiry dates, onboard stability records, and lot-to-lot verification documentation.

Monitor sample collection, transportation, storage, processing, and disposal activities to ensure compliance with laboratory procedures.

Pay: ₹19,630.32 - ₹35,000.00 per month
