Qualifications, Skill Set

A formal degree is not required; candidates may be degree-holders or self-taught.

Robust reading, writing, and communication skills are required.

Required Experience

Minimum 2 years of in-depth experience in automation testing in an agile environment.

Experience with REST API testing automation.

Strong understanding of Core JAVA and object-oriented concepts.

Understanding of the product development life cycle, with specific experience using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.

Good overview of SDLC processes, requirement specifications, software development and software debugging.

Experience in Java Integrated Development Environments (e.g., Eclipse IDE).

Expertise in test-driven development.

Experience working on technical projects within a team.

Knowledge of version control systems, such as SVN or GIT.

Roles & Responsibilities





Participates in Agile Team meetings with responsibility of understanding the requirements and writing User Acceptance Criteria for incoming requests.

Performs Data Testing of external and internal facing web enhancements for the benefit of customers and IQVIA staff.

Writes database queries to perform data validation on calculations.

Understands how the business work-flow impacts the testing of the underlying back-end data while ensuring results are correctly represented.

Understands correct testing techniques and sampling strategies to write test scenarios.

Understands underlying data, table relationships, and how to create or manipulate data to trigger desired test conditions.

Languages used include Oracle SQL and Oracle SQL Developer as a tool to write SQL statements.
