Role Overview
We are looking for a passionate and hands-on C/C++ Linux Engineer with 2–3 years of experience in developing computer vision applications. The ideal candidate should have strong programming skills in C/C++, experience with Linux-based development, and practical knowledge of OpenCV and AI-based video analytics. The role involves developing, optimizing, and integrating real-time computer vision solutions for embedded and edge AI platforms.
Key Responsibilities
· Design, develop, and maintain computer vision applications using C/C++ on Linux.
· Develop image and video processing algorithms using OpenCV.
· Integrate AI models for object detection, tracking, pose estimation, segmentation, and activity recognition.
· Build real-time video analytics applications for IP cameras and embedded vision systems.
· Optimize algorithms for performance, latency, and memory usage.
· Interface with cameras using RTSP, USB, MIPI CSI, and other video capture frameworks.
· Debug and optimize multi-threaded applications.
· Work with cross-functional teams to integrate AI models into production software.
· Analyze customer requirements and convert them into robust software solutions.
· Participate in code reviews and maintain high coding standards.
· Prepare technical documentation and support product deployment.

Required Technical Skills Programming
· Strong proficiency in C and C++
· Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming
· Strong understanding on Image preprocessing, Image filtering, Thresholding techniques, Edge and feature detection
· Motion detection and activity analysis, Video annotation and overlay generation

Video Processing
· RTSP streaming

· Video encoding/decoding fundamentals

Software Development
· Multi-threaded programming
· Socket programming (TCP/IP)
· IPC mechanisms
· Performance profiling and optimization
· Software debugging
Desired Skills
· Experience with NVIDIA Jetson, Raspberry Pi, Rockchip, or other embedded Linux platforms.
· Familiarity with ARM-based systems.
· Understanding of GPU acceleration using CUDA or OpenCL.
· Experience deploying AI models on edge devices.
· Knowledge of Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
· Basic Python scripting for testing and automation.
· Familiarity with Linux device drivers is an added advantage.
Qualifications
· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Embedded Systems, Artificial Intelligence, or a related engineering discipline.
