AI Generalist building practical AI/LLM automations across our accounting and finance operations. Fully remote, India.

About the role

CredibleCFO is a cloud accounting and CFO-advisory firm serving US-based businesses. We are weaving AI into how we deliver bookkeeping, accounting, and financial reporting. As our AI Generalist, you will spot high-leverage automation opportunities across our finance operations and build practical, reliable AI-powered solutions—from document and data extraction to reconciliation assistants, internal copilots, and workflow automations.

What you will do

- Prototype and ship AI/LLM-powered tools that automate accounting and back-office work (invoice/receipt extraction, bank reconciliation, transaction categorization, report drafting).
- Build integrations and automations across our stack (Odoo, QuickBooks/Xero, Google Workspace) using APIs, webhooks, scripts, and low-/no-code tools.
- Engineer prompts, evaluate model outputs, and add guardrails and QA so results are accurate in a finance context.




- Partner with accounting and operations teams to turn manual processes into dependable automations—and measure the impact.
- Track the fast-moving AI landscape and recommend tools and approaches worth adopting.

What we are looking for

- 2–4 years building software, automations, or data/AI solutions.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs and prompt engineering (Anthropic, OpenAI, etc.) and a scripting language (Python preferred).
- Comfort with APIs, webhooks, and connecting SaaS tools; a strong bias for shipping.
- Excellent problem-solving, transparent communication, and self-direction in a fully-remote team.

Nice to have

- Exposure to accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or fintech workflows.
- Automation platforms (Zapier/Make/n8n), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), or internal-copilot experience.
- Familiarity with Odoo or QuickBooks/Xero.
