We are looking for an AI/ML Engineer who enjoys solving real-world problems through Artificial Intelligence and building practical solutions that can be deployed across multiple organisational functions.

Role Summary

The AI/ML Engineer will design, develop, and deploy AI-powered applications that improve organisational productivity, automate workflows, enhance decision-making, and support the development of intelligent tools for both internal teams and client-facing services.

The role combines software engineering, AI integration, workflow automation, and applied machine learning to create scalable solutions that support IND's long-term vision.

Key Responsibilities
AI Solution Development

- Design and develop AI-powered applications for organisational use.
- Build intelligent systems that improve operational efficiency.
- Develop reusable AI components and services.
- Deploy scalable AI solutions across different departments.

Machine Learning & AI Applications

Where appropriate:

- Build and evaluate machine learning models.
- Fine-tune existing AI models for domain-specific applications.




- Develop intelligent classification, recommendation, and prediction systems.
- Work with structured and unstructured datasets.

Large Language Model (LLM) Development

- Develop applications powered by Large Language Models.
- Design prompt engineering frameworks.
- Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems.
- Build conversational AI applications.
- Develop internal AI assistants and knowledge systems.

Workflow Automation

Develop AI-enabled solutions for:

- CRM
- Recruitment
- HR
- Publishing
- Parent communication
- Clinical documentation
- Marketing
- Research
- Administrative operations

Data Engineering

- Prepare and manage datasets.
- Develop data pipelines for AI applications.
- Ensure data quality and consistency.
- Build data processing workflows for analytics and machine learning.

Software Development

- Develop production-ready backend services.
- Build APIs for AI-powered applications.
- Integrate AI services with existing platforms.
- Ensure scalability, security, and maintainability.

Research & Innovation

- Evaluate emerging AI technologies.
- Prototype current AI applications.
- Recommend suitable frameworks and tools.
- Stay updated with advances in Generative AI and Machine Learning.

Required Skills

- Strong programming skills in Python.
- Good understanding of Machine Learning fundamentals.

- Portfolio of AI projects, GitHub repositories, or deployed applications.
