Job Summary: The Safety Trainer is responsible for developing, delivering, and managing occupational health and safety training programs for employees at all levels. The goal is to ensure a protected working environment by promoting compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry best practices. The trainer will also evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and recommend improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop, update, and deliver safety training programs (e.g., OSHA, fire safety, hazard communication, PPE, lockout/tagout, confined space, ergonomics, etc.).

· Conduct new hire orientation safety training.

· Maintain training records and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements.

· Identify training needs through job analysis, consultation with managers/supervisors, and audits.

· Conduct hands-on and classroom-style training sessions.

· Ensure training materials are current and aligned with local, state, and federal regulations.

· Assist with incident investigations and recommend corrective actions.

· Provide refresher courses and safety drills (e.g., fire, evacuation, emergency response).





· Evaluate and improve training effectiveness through assessments and feedback.

· Support continuous improvement in health & safety performance and culture.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, or related field (preferred).

· Certified Safety Professional (CSP), OSHA Trainer Certification, or equivalent credentials are a plus.

Experience:

· Minimum 1-5 years of experience in a safety training or EHS role.

· Experience in conducting classroom and hands-on training sessions.

· Familiarity with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory requirements.

Skills:

· Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to tailor training to different audiences and learning styles.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS).

· Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
