Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Gas Cutting Supervisor to oversee daily operations of our CNC Oxy-Fuel (Gas) Cutting section. The ideal candidate will manage shop floor activities, ensure cutting accuracy and quality, control gas consumption, and lead a team of operators to meet production and delivery targets.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise and coordinate daily CNC Oxy-Fuel gas cutting operations to meet production schedules
- Review engineering drawings and job specifications to plan cutting layouts and optimize plate/material usage
- Monitor machine performance, cutting accuracy, and edge quality; troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime
- Control and monitor gas (oxygen/fuel gas) consumption to reduce wastage and cost
- Allocate work to operators, monitor productivity, and ensure adherence to safety standards
- Ensure quality checks (dimensional accuracy, squareness, edge finish) are performed as per ISO 9001:2015 standards
- Maintain production records, reports, and documentation for traceability
- Coordinate with planning, quality, and dispatch teams for on-time delivery




- Train and guide machine operators on best practices, gas handling, and safety procedures
- Ensure preventive maintenance schedules for gas cutting machines, torches, and nozzles are followed
- Identify areas for process improvement to enhance efficiency and reduce costs

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Diploma/ITI/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in CNC Oxy-Fuel/Gas Cutting operations, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of reading engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Familiarity with CNC gas cutting machines, nesting software, torch setup, and cutting parameters
- Good understanding of steel plate thickness, tolerances, and gas cutting techniques
- Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills
- Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 quality standards preferred
- Basic computer skills (MS Office, production software)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
