We are seeking an experienced and agile Unit Manager to oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensure production targets are achieved, maintain quality standards, and lead cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing operations, preferably in medical devices, pharmaceuticals, plastics, or laboratory consumables.

Key Responsibilities

* Plan, organize, and supervise daily manufacturing operations.

* Ensure production targets are achieved with optimum productivity.

* Monitor machine utilization and minimize downtime.

* Ensure compliance with ISO 13485, GMP, and applicable regulatory requirements.

* Coordinate with Production, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Procurement teams.

* Implement Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.

* Monitor production KPIs including OEE, rejection rates, productivity, and delivery schedules.

* Ensure workplace safety, 5S, and statutory compliance.

* Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.

* Manage manpower planning, shift scheduling, and employee performance.

* Support installation, validation,



and commissioning of new machinery.

* Control manufacturing costs and reduce wastage.

Required Qualifications

* Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, Plastic, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.

* MBA in Operations is an added advantage.

Experience

* 2 years of experience in manufacturing operations.

* At least 1 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

* Experience in medical devices, plastics injection molding, pharmaceuticals, or laboratory consumables preferred.

Required Skills

* Strong leadership and team management.

* Production planning and inventory management.

* Knowledge of ISO 13485, GMP, and quality systems.

* Root Cause Analysis (RCA), CAPA, and problem-solving.

* Excellent communication and organizational skills.

* Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems.

Pay: ₹158,784.31 - ₹253,893.27 per year
