Job Summary

The Logistics Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing the movement, storage, dispatch, and delivery of furniture products. The role ensures timely deliveries, effective warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, and seamless coordination between the showroom, warehouse, vendors, transporters, and installation teams to achieve high customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end logistics operations, including dispatch, transportation, and delivery of furniture.
- Plan daily delivery schedules and optimize vehicle routes for timely execution.
- Coordinate with the sales team, warehouse, vendors, and installation team to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
- Monitor inventory movement, stock availability, and warehouse operations.
- Ensure safe handling, loading, unloading, and transportation of furniture to prevent damage.
- Track deliveries and resolve logistics-related issues promptly.
- Manage transport vendors and negotiate freight and transportation costs.
- Maintain logistics records, delivery reports, vehicle logs, and inventory documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and transportation regulations.




- Lead, train, and supervise warehouse and logistics staff.
- Monitor logistics expenses and implement cost-saving initiatives.
- Handle customer delivery escalations and ensure excellent service standards.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field.
- MBA in Operations/Supply Chain will be an added advantage.

Experience

- 3–8 years of experience in logistics, warehouse, or supply chain management.
- Furniture industry experience is mandatory.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of warehouse and inventory management.
- Experience in dispatch planning and transportation management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/Inventory Management Software.
- Strong leadership, coordination, and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet delivery deadlines.
- Knowledge of route planning and logistics cost optimization.

Preferred Candidate

Only candidates with prior experience in the furniture industry will be considered.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
