- Provide immediate medical care to patients in OPD, IPD, and Emergency departments
- Attend and manage all medical emergencies promptly
- Conduct initial patient assessment, diagnosis, and stabilization
- Assist consultants during rounds, procedures, and surgeries as required
- Maintain accurate and updated patient medical records and case sheets
- Ensure proper documentation of treatment, investigations, and progress notes
- Coordinate with nursing staff and other departments for patient care
- Monitor critically ill patients and inform consultants of any changes
- Handle medico-legal cases as per hospital protocol
- Ensure adherence to hospital policies, protocols, and NABH standards
- Participate in ward rounds and handover processes between shifts
