Role Overview

Prepare design drawings, layouts, and detailed engineering calculations for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire-fighting, and other building services systems.

Review project specifications and client requirements to develop integrated MEP solutions.

Perform load calculations, duct sizing, pipe sizing, cable sizing, and equipment selection.

Develop schematic diagrams, BOQ, and technical documentation for MEP systems.

Coordinate with architectural, structural, and civil teams to ensure design integration.

Review and approve shop drawings, materials, and equipment submittals.

Ensure all designs comply with local authority codes, safety standards, and sustainability requirements.

Provide technical support during project execution, testing, and commissioning stages.

Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors to resolve technical issues.





Conduct value engineering to optimize cost while maintaining performance and quality.

Key Skills & Competencies

Solid knowledge of MEP systems design principles.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, HAP, Dialux, ETAP or equivalent software.

Good understanding of IS, IEC, NFPA, ASHRAE, BS, and local building codes.

Qualifications & Skills Required

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).

3–7 years of experience in MEP design (construction, industrial, or commercial projects).

Experience in design consultancy or EPC companies preferred.

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
