Position: Project Engineer – STP Construction

Experience: 5+ Years (Relevant experience in STP/WTP/Civil Construction)
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for planning, execution, monitoring, and successful completion of STP civil works while ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

- Execute and supervise all civil construction activities for STP projects.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams for smooth project execution.
- Monitor project progress, manpower, materials, and equipment utilization.
- Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Review BOQs, project drawings, and coordinate with the design team for technical clarifications.
- Verify contractor bills, measurements, and material consumption.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain site documentation.




- Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues during construction.
- Support project planning, scheduling, and timely project completion.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of RCC, structural works, finishing works, and STP construction methodologies.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Experience in project planning, site execution, billing, and quantity estimation.
- Knowledge of quality control procedures and safety practices.
- Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project management tools (MS Project/Primavera is an added advantage).
- Good communication, coordination, and leadership skills.

Preferred Experience

- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in STP, WTP, ETP, or infrastructure projects.
- Experience in handling complete project execution from foundation to commissioning support.
- Familiarity with CPHEEO guidelines and relevant IS codes will be an added advantage.
