About the Role
- We are looking for a subject matter expert (SME) with strong hands-on knowledge of store & inventory operations in construction environments.
- This role focuses on designing, improving, and implementing the Store & Inventory module of our ERP to reflect real on-ground construction workflows.
- The candidate will bridge real-world inventory practices with ERP system functionality.
What You’ll Do
- Understand construction material workflows including buying, storing, issuing, inspection, rejection, wastage & tracking.
- Map real-world processes into ERP workflows such as:
- Material Requisition (MR)
- Purchase Orders (PO)
- Goods Receipt Note (GRN)
- Store Issues, Returns & Inspections
- Ensure ERP supports multiple stores (sites & warehouses), item categories, item groups, rack/bin locations & item hierarchies.
- Define process controls including approvals, rejections, role-based access, alerts & approval timelines.
- Help manage vendor master data, transport rates & material usage tracking against projects/work orders.
- Measure and report inventory metrics such as stock levels, wastage, item-wise reports, PO & GRN reports.
- Train store staff, site engineers, procurement & accounts teams on ERP inventory processes.
- Collaborate with ERP teams to test features, suggest improvements & align software with field realities.
What We Expect From You
- Strong experience managing stores & inventory in a construction setting.
- Clear understanding of different store types, inspections, spoilage, wastage & item tracking.

- Experience handling multiple stores/sites is a strong advantage.
- Ability to communicate effectively with store teams, site engineers, procurement & ERP/software teams.
- Basic experience with ERP or inventory software is preferred.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Supply Chain, Inventory Management or related field.
- 6–10 years of experience in store/inventory management within construction or similar industries.
- Prior experience using any ERP or inventory management system is an added advantage.
