Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and responsible Electrician to maintain and repair electrical systems and equipment within the hospital premises. The candidate will ensure uninterrupted electrical supply and protected operation of all hospital electrical installations and medical support systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, maintain, and repair hospital electrical systems and equipment
- Monitor power supply systems, generators, UPS, panels, and lighting systems
- Attend electrical complaints from wards, patient rooms, OT, ICU, laboratories, and offices
- Perform preventive maintenance of electrical equipment
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and breakdowns quickly
- Ensure safety standards and electrical compliance are followed
- Maintain records of maintenance and repair work
- Coordinate with biomedical and maintenance teams when required




- Support emergency electrical services during power failures

Requirements

- Knowledge of electrical wiring, panels, generators, and maintenance
- Ability to identify and solve electrical issues efficiently
- Understanding of hospital safety procedures
- Willingness to work shifts and emergency duties

Qualification

- ITI Electrician / Diploma in Electrical Engineering
- Valid electrical license preferred

Experience

- 1–5 years experience in hospital, commercial, or industrial maintenance preferred
