About Rashtriya Samachar

Rashtriya Samachar is a rapidly growing media organization with a fully operational broadcast studio in Surat. We are launching a 24×7 YouTube Live News Channel as the first phase of our ambitious vision to build a nationally recognized satellite television news network.

We are looking for an experienced and visionary Director to lead this journey by establishing systems, building high-performing teams, and driving strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the successful launch and day-to-day operations of a 24×7 Live News Channel.
- Build and manage editorial, production, digital, technical, and administrative teams.
- Develop newsroom workflows, SOPs, assignment desk operations, PCR/MCR processes, and quality standards.
- Drive audience growth across digital platforms through innovative content strategies.
- Establish operational excellence across editorial and broadcast functions.
- Work closely with the Chairman to execute the company's long-term growth strategy.
- Lead the expansion of operations into Ahmedabad and Delhi.
- Prepare the organization for its transition into a satellite television news network.
- Build a high-performance culture with strong leadership and accountability.

Required Qualifications





- 15+ years of leadership experience in Television, Broadcast, Digital News, or Media.
- Proven experience in launching or scaling a news channel or media operation.
- Solid expertise in newsroom management and editorial leadership.
- Experience in building and leading cross-functional teams.
- Excellent strategic planning, operational management, and decision-making skills.
- Strong understanding of digital media, broadcast operations, and audience engagement.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic media environment.
