Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated, customer-oriented Pharmacist to join our dynamic 24X7 pharmacy team within a busy retail supermarket store. As a Pharmacist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality pharmaceutical services, including dispensing prescriptions, offering health consultations, managing inventory, and ensuring the protected and effective use of medications in a retail setting. You will work closely with patients and healthcare professionals to ensure that the pharmacy operates in compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prescription Dispensing & Medication Management:
- Accurately dispense prescription medications and ensure the appropriate dosage and instructions.
- Review prescriptions for proper dosage, drug interactions, contraindications, and patient allergies.
- Counsel patients on the safe and effective use of medications, including potential side effects and interactions.
- Verify and manage prescriptions from healthcare providers, ensuring that they meet legal and clinical standards.
- Patient Counseling & Healthcare Advice:
- Provide guidance to patients on over-the-counter (OTC) medications, supplements, and other health-related products.
- Offer consultations on lifestyle changes, health improvement, and the management of chronic conditions.
- Educate patients about vaccination schedules, health screenings, and general wellness practices.
- Inventory Management:
- Oversee the storage and organization of medications and pharmaceutical supplies.
- Monitor stock levels, place orders, and track inventory to ensure optimal supply without shortages or wastage.




- Ensure compliance with safety protocols for controlled substances and high-risk medications.
- Regulatory Compliance & Safety:
- Ensure adherence to pharmacy laws, regulations, and safety standards.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pharmaceutical developments, health trends, and legal requirements.
- Report adverse drug reactions (ADRs), medication errors, or safety concerns in a timely manner.
- Complete regular audits to ensure regulatory compliance and pharmacy cleanliness.
- Collaboration & Customer Service:
- Work closely with pharmacy staff, store management, and healthcare providers to support customer needs.
- Offer exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and providing accurate information.
- Handle confidential patient information with integrity and maintain a high level of professionalism.
- Emergency & After-Hours Services:
- Provide pharmaceutical care during late-night shifts, weekends, and holidays as part of a 24X7 pharmacy service.
- Respond to emergency situations involving medication, patient health concerns, or pharmacy operations.
- Technology & Record-Keeping:
- Utilize pharmacy management software to record patient prescriptions, track medication history, and process insurance claims.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, prescriptions, and billing information in compliance with HIPAA and data privacy laws.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

Education:

- Diploma (Preferred)

Experience:

- Basic computer: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:
