Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Safety Supervisor - Construction to manage day-to-day safety compliance and workforce protection across our active field operations. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for on-site safety execution, conducting regular field inspections, resolving safety violations, and promoting a robust safety culture. Your objective is to eliminate workplace accidents and ensure 100% adherence to all regulatory and internal safety policies.

Key Responsibilities

· Field Enforcement: Monitor daily operations to ensure all crew members, contractors, and visitors comply with corporate safety rules and regulatory policies.

· Daily Inspections: Conduct routine site walkthroughs to identify physical hazards, faulty equipment, or unsafe worker behaviours, and implement immediate corrections.

· Toolbox Talks: Lead mandatory daily morning safety briefings and localized "toolbox talks" to discuss specific risks associated with the day's tasks.

· Incident Response: Administer first aid or coordinate medical response during incidents, secure accident scenes, and assist safety engineers in drafting preliminary incident reports.

· PPE & Equipment Audits: Audit personal protective equipment (PPE)



inventory regularly to verify that all workers are equipped with well-maintained, compliant safety gear.

· Permit Management: Review and authorize daily hazardous work permits, including hot work, confined space entry, and lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) clearances.

Qualifications & Requirements

· Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; an Associate degree or Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field is highly preferred.

· Experience: 2 to 3 years of proven experience working as a safety coordinator, supervisor, or foreman in a high-risk environment (e.g., construction, manufacturing, oil & gas).

· Certifications: OSHA 30-Hour certification is mandatory; credentials like Safety Trained Supervisor (STS) or Safety Trained Supervisor Construction (STSC) are strong assets.

· Core Skills: Strong command of standard safety regulations, proficiency in hazard identification, basic first aid/CPR skills, and clear verbal communication.

· Leadership Traits: Firm authoritative presence on-site, exceptional conflict-resolution skills, and the capability to train and influence diverse worker crews.
