Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated Mechanical Design Engineer with experience in Special Purpose Machine (SPM) Design and Industrial Automation. The ideal candidate should possess solid machine design expertise, hands-on experience with 3D CAD software, and the ability to develop innovative automation solutions from concept through manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop Special Purpose Machines (SPMs), custom automation equipment, and assembly systems.
- Prepare detailed 3D models, manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings, and fabrication drawings using CREO, SolidWorks, or AutoCAD.
- Develop machine concepts based on customer requirements and manufacturing processes.
- Design machine assemblies, fixtures, jigs, conveyors, workstations, and automation mechanisms.
- Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM), engineering documentation,



and technical specifications.
- Perform design calculations, tolerance analysis, and component selection.
- Support prototype development, machine assembly, testing, installation, and commissioning activities.
- Resolve design-related issues and implement engineering improvements.
- Ensure designs comply with quality standards, safety requirements, and manufacturing best practices.

Required Skills

- Hands-on experience in Special Purpose Machine (SPM) Design
- Strong knowledge of Industrial Automation and Machine Design
- Proficiency in CREO, SolidWorks, or AutoCAD
- Experience in 3D Modelling and 2D Drafting
- Knowledge of GD&T;, Engineering Drawings, and Design Standards
- Understanding of Pneumatic Systems, Linear Motion Components, Bearings, Gearboxes, and Mechanical Power Transmission
- Knowledge of Manufacturing Processes, Machining, Fabrication, and Assembly
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a cooperative engineering environment

Qualification

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics

Pay: ₹24,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
