Motherhood Hospital is a leading women and child care healthcare provider committed to delivering exceptional maternity, gynecology, neonatal, and pediatric services. We are looking for a compassionate and patient-focused OPD Staff Nurse to join our nursing team.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide quality nursing care to patients attending the Outpatient Department (OPD).
- Assess patients, record vital signs, and document medical history before consultation.
- Assist consultants during patient examinations and minor procedures.
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure the availability of required medical equipment and supplies.
- Administer medications, injections, vaccinations, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed.
- Assist in dressing changes, wound care, specimen collection, and other nursing procedures.
- Educate patients regarding medications, treatment plans, preventive care, and follow-up visits.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation in the Hospital Information System (HIS).
- Coordinate with laboratory, radiology, pharmacy, billing, and other departments for smooth patient care.
- Monitor infection prevention and control practices within the OPD.




- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide Basic Life Support (BLS) when required.
- Ensure patient comfort, safety, and confidentiality throughout the consultation process.

Qualification

- B.Sc. Nursing or GNM (Mandatory)
- Valid State Nursing Council Registration.

Experience

- Minimum 5 Months–10 years of experience in OPD, Ward, Day Care, or Multi-Specialty Hospital.
- Experience in a women and child healthcare or maternity hospital is preferred.

Required Skills

- Patient assessment and vital signs monitoring.
- IV cannulation and medication administration.
- Assisting in minor procedures and wound dressing.
- Excellent communication and patient counselling.
- Documentation and Hospital Information System (HIS) knowledge.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced outpatient environment.
