We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Academic Counsellor to join our team. The
ideal candidate should have prior experience in the EdTech industry with strong expertise in student
counselling, lead handling, and sales conversion. The candidate will play a key role in guiding
prospective students and driving admissions through effective counselling and relationship
management.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound leads professionally
- Counsel students and parents regarding courses, programs, and career opportunities
- Convert leads into admissions through effective follow-ups and communication
- Maintain robust lead nurturing and relationship management
- Achieve monthly admission and revenue targets
- Coordinate with the sales and academic teams for smooth onboarding
- Maintain accurate records in CRM and update lead status regularly
- Conduct virtual/telephonic counselling sessions
- Understand student requirements and recommend suitable programs
- Ensure high customer satisfaction and retention
- Participate in promotional activities,
campaigns, and events when required

- Lead conversion ratio
- Monthly admissions target achievement
- Revenue generation performance
- Follow-up efficiency and response time

- CRM data accuracy and reporting

Preferred Candidate Profile
- 0-1 years of experience in Academic Counselling / Admission Sales
- Prior experience in EdTech industry preferred
- Proven track record in lead conversion and admissions
- Graduation mandatory; Post-graduation is an added advantage
