Job Summary

The Accountant is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with statutory regulations. The role requires solid analytical abilities, attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting software and taxation processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain accurate accounting records and bookkeeping
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Prepare invoices, vouchers, receipts, and payment entries
- Perform bank reconciliations and ledger scrutiny
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Manage GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances
- Assist in payroll processing and employee reimbursements
- Monitor expenses and support budgeting activities
- Coordinate with auditors, vendors, and internal departments
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records

Required Skills & Competencies

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software such as TallyPrime,



SAP ERP, or QuickBooks
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Educational Qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com/M.Com preferred)

Experience Required

- 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience
- Freshers with strong accounting knowledge may also be considered

Preferred Qualifications

- Knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance
- Experience with ERP/accounting systems
- Basic payroll processing knowledge
