About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join the Leasing & Signals (Project Evolve) initiative. This strategic transformation project focuses on migrating JLL's legacy Lease Administration Technology platform (OVLA/Portfolio) to CoStar Real Estate Manager (CREM). You will play a key role in designing scalable data pipelines, supporting large-scale data migration, and enabling seamless integration between legacy and modern enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines using PySpark, Databricks, and cloud technologies.
- Build robust ETL processes to support enterprise-scale data migration.
- Migrate data from legacy platforms to modern enterprise applications.
- Develop data integration solutions across multiple enterprise systems.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, validation, and reconciliation throughout migration activities.
- Collaborate with architects, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to deliver migration milestones.




- Optimize data processing performance and reliability for high-volume datasets.
- Support cloud-based data engineering initiatives and modern data architecture.
- Document technical designs, migration processes, and implementation standards.
- Follow best practices for coding, testing, deployment, and operational support.

Required Skills

- 6+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with Databricks.
- Strong expertise in PySpark.
- Strong programming skills in Python.
- Experience building enterprise ETL pipelines.
- Experience with large-scale data migration projects.
- Experience integrating enterprise applications and data platforms.
- Solid understanding of cloud-based data engineering.

Preferred Skills

- Experience migrating legacy platforms to modern enterprise applications.
- Experience with enterprise data modernization initiatives.
- Exposure to CoStar Real Estate Manager (CREM) or Lease Administration systems is an advantage.
- Databricks or Cloud certifications.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Bangalore City, Bengaluru, Karnataka
