Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Ruby on Rails Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain robust, scalable web applications using Ruby on Rails
- Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to integrate user-facing elements
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices
- Design and implement APIs and backend components
- Perform code reviews, unit testing, and troubleshoot issues
- Optimize applications for speed and scalability
- Work closely with QA,



Product Managers, and other developers to deliver quality software

Requirements

- 4 to 7 years of hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails
- Strong knowledge of OOP, MVC, and RESTful architecture
- Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL / MySQL)
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript)
- Proficiency in Git and version control workflows
- Understanding of Agile methodologies
- Good debugging and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Nice to Have

- Experience with Docker, AWS, or other cloud platforms
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
- Exposure to background jobs, caching, and performance optimization
