Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to design, develop, deploy, and maintain the Carrier Appointment Platform (CAP)—a modern, cloud-native application built on Microsoft Azure.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in React.js, Node.js, Azure SQL Database, Azure Cloud Services, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and application monitoring. You will be responsible for delivering end-to-end software solutions, from technical design and development through deployment, monitoring, and production support.

This role requires a strong understanding of modern web technologies, cloud-native architecture, DevOps practices, and secure application development.

Key ResponsibilitiesApplication Development

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications using React.js and Node.js.
- Build responsive, reusable, and accessible user interface components.
- Develop robust RESTful APIs and backend services using Express.js.
- Design and optimize database schemas, stored procedures, and SQL queries in Azure SQL Database.
- Build cloud-native applications following microservices and modern software engineering principles.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code while adhering to coding standards.

Azure Cloud Engineering

- Deploy, configure, and manage applications on the Microsoft Azure platform.
- Implement and manage Azure services, including:
- Azure App Service
- Azure SQL Database
- Azure Key Vault
- Azure Storage Accounts
- Azure Monitor
- Azure Application Insights
- Azure Virtual Networks
- Azure Entra ID (Azure Active Directory)
- Implement identity management, authentication, authorization, and cloud security best practices.
- Optimize cloud infrastructure for scalability, availability, and cost efficiency.

DevOps & CI/CD

- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
- Automate deployments across Development, Testing, Staging, and Production environments.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
- Manage source control using Git with effective branching and release strategies.
- Improve deployment automation, reliability, and operational efficiency.

API Development & Integration

- Design, develop, document, and secure RESTful APIs.
- Integrate enterprise applications and third-party services.




- Implement API authentication and authorization using OAuth and JWT.
- Optimize APIs for scalability, performance, and reliability.

Monitoring & Production Support

- Configure and manage Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.
- Build dashboards, alerts, and health monitoring solutions.
- Monitor application performance and proactively identify bottlenecks.
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Ensure high availability, reliability, and observability of production applications.

Architecture & Engineering Best Practices

- Participate in solution architecture, technical design, and technology selection discussions.
- Conduct code reviews and enforce secure coding standards.
- Implement enterprise best practices for:

- Error handling
- Performance optimization
- Contribute to technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Mentor junior developers and promote engineering excellence.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of professional software development experience.




- 5+ years of hands-on experience with React.js and Node.js.
- 3+ years of experience developing and deploying cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure.
- Strong experience with Azure SQL Database and relational database design.
- Experience designing scalable RESTful APIs and enterprise integrations.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
- Solid communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience developing enterprise applications from the ground up.
- Experience modernizing legacy applications into cloud-native solutions.
- Exposure to healthcare, insurance, or other regulated industries.
- Understanding of compliance standards such as HIPAA, PII, and data privacy regulations.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
