Qualification:
Master’s or Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related discipline, with specialization or strong academic focus in Tribology.
Experience:
4–5 years of experience in Tribology, Lubricant, or Bearing Application Engineering.
Job Responsibility
- Analyze and interpret data from tribology experiments and real-world applications to understand wear mechanisms and lubricant performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including chemists, engineers, and product managers to develop new products and improve existing ones.
- Provide technical expertise and support to customers, including troubleshooting and recommending lubrication solutions for specific applications.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in tribology and related fields, and apply this knowledge to product development.
- Design and conduct experiments under simulated service conditions to evaluate the performance of lubricants under various environmental and operational parameters.
- Operate and maintain specific tribological instrumentation for testing wear and load performance of lubricants, such as pin-on-disk, four-ball testers, and rheometers.
- Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards.

- Robust understanding of the principles of tribology, lubrication, and material science.
- Experimental design and statistical data analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to overcome technical challenges.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex technical information clearly and persuasively.
