Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain relational databases for various applications and systems within the organization.
- Perform database tuning and optimization to ensure optimal performance and scalability.
- Develop SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to support application development and data retrieval.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design database solutions that meet business needs.
- Perform data modeling to design logical and physical database structures.
- Implement and maintain database security measures to protect sensitive data.




- Troubleshoot and resolve database issues promptly.
- Document database design, processes, and procedures.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3-6 years of experience in database development.
- Proficiency in SQL programming and experience with relational database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server).
- Robust understanding of database design principles and data modeling techniques.
- Experience with database tuning, optimization, and performance monitoring.
- Knowledge of database security best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) is a plus.
- Familiarity with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and tools.
- Knowledge of cloud-based database services (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database).
- Certification in database administration or development is a plus.
