Job Summary

We are hiring a DevOps Trainer to deliver our DevOps, Cloud, CI/CD, and containerisation training programs. You will help students understand modern software delivery from source control and Linux fundamentals to Docker, Kubernetes, automation, monitoring, and cloud deployment. Whether you are a bright fresher with strong project work or a professional with up to 2 years of experience, if you love teaching and can make infrastructure concepts practical and simple, we want to hear from you - structured trainer onboarding will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver engaging classroom and online training sessions in Linux fundamentals, networking basics, Git/GitHub, and shell scripting
- Teach DevOps culture, SDLC, Agile workflows, build/release practices, and production deployment concepts
- Cover Linux server administration basics including users, permissions, services, processes, SSH, package management, logs, and cron jobs
- Train students in Docker - images, containers, Dockerfiles, volumes, networks, registries, and Docker Compose
- Cover Kubernetes fundamentals including pods, deployments, services, config maps, secrets, ingress, and basic troubleshooting
- Teach Nginx or Apache basics for reverse proxy, static hosting, SSL configuration, and application routing
- Teach CI/CD pipeline creation using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI, including automated build, test, and deployment stages
- Introduce build tools and artifact handling for common stacks, including Maven/Gradle, npm builds, Docker image tagging, and registry usage
- Introduce cloud concepts and hands-on deployment using AWS or Azure services such as compute, storage, IAM, VPC/VNet, security groups,



load balancing, and basic server management
- Cover Infrastructure as Code and automation basics using Terraform and Ansible
- Teach cloud and DevOps security basics including IAM permissions, secrets management, SSH key handling, workplace variables, vulnerability scanning, and least-privilege access
- Teach monitoring, logging, and alerting fundamentals using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or cloud-native monitoring
- Guide students through real deployment projects such as hosting a web app on cloud, containerising an application, building a CI/CD pipeline, deploying
- to Kubernetes, and setting up basic monitoring
- Prepare and update course materials, lab exercises, assessments, and project briefs in line with industry trends
- Mentor students on resume building, GitHub portfolios, project explanation, and DevOps interview preparation
- Evaluate student progress, run doubt-clearing sessions, and support academy demos, workshops, and seminars

Requirements

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field
- 0-2 years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, system administration, software development, or technical training
- Strong understanding of Linux, networking basics, Git/GitHub, and shell scripting




- Ability to teach Linux server administration, SSH, permissions, services, logs, cron, and basic troubleshooting
- Hands-on knowledge of Docker and containerised application deployment
- Working knowledge of Kubernetes fundamentals and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI
- Familiarity with AWS or Azure cloud services, IAM, networking, security groups, load balancers, and deployment workflows
- Basic exposure to Nginx/Apache, Terraform, Ansible, monitoring tools, and DevOps security practices is preferred
- A portfolio of DevOps projects, GitHub repositories, cloud deployments, CI/CD pipelines, or automation scripts is highly preferred
- Excellent presentation and communication skills in English; Malayalam is an advantage
- Genuine passion for teaching and mentoring students, and for staying current with DevOps, cloud, and Gen AI automation tools
