Electrician / Electrical Technician – Water Treatment & Utility Systems

We are seeking a skilled Electrician/Technician responsible for installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems associated with water treatment plants and utility equipment such as RO, WTP, STP, ETP, hydro pneumatic systems, pumps, control panels, VFDs, and automation systems.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Installation & Commissioning

- Installation of electrical panels, wiring, and field instruments for:

- RO (Reverse Osmosis Systems)

- WTP (Water Treatment Plants)

- STP (Sewage Treatment Plants)

- ETP (Effluent Treatment Plants)

- Installation and wiring of:

- Pumps, motors, blowers

- Hydro pneumatic systems

- VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives)

- PLC-based control panels

- Cable laying, glanding, termination, and earthing

2. Operation & Maintenance (O&M;)

- Routine inspection and preventive maintenance of:

- Electrical panels (MCC, PCC)

- Motors and pumps

- Level controllers, pressure switches, sensors

- Monitoring system performance and ensuring smooth plant operation

- Maintaining logbooks and maintenance records

3. Troubleshooting & Repairs

- Diagnose and rectify electrical faults in:

- Panels, VFDs, PLC systems

- Pumps, motors, dosing systems

- Identify issues like:

- Phase failure, overload, short circuits

- Sensor/controller malfunction

- Minimize downtime through quick fault resolution

4. Automation & Control Systems





- Basic understanding of PLC and SCADA systems

- Handling of controllers such as:

- Level controllers

- Pressure controllers

- Dosing controllers

- Parameter setting in VFDs and controllers

5. Safety & Compliance

- Ensure adherence to electrical safety standards

- Use PPE and follow lockout/tagout procedures

- Maintain proper earthing and panel safety

Required Skills & Knowledge:

- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and industrial wiring

- Experience with:

- VFDs (e.g., ABB, Siemens, Schneider)

- Electrical panels (MCC/PCC)

- Motors & pumps

- Understanding of water treatment processes (RO, STP, ETP)

- Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics

- Knowledge of multimeter, megger, and testing tools

Qualification:

- ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering (preferred)

- Minimum 2–5 years experience in water treatment or utility systems

Preferred Experience:

- Experience in facility management / water treatment companies

- Hands-on experience in RO, STP, WTP plants

- Familiarity with AMC & O&M; works

Additional Requirements:

- Willingness to travel to sites

- Ability to work in shifts (if required)

- Valuable troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

- Site Engineer / Project Manager / Maintenance Head

Location: Mumbai/ Delhi NCR

- As per project/site requirement

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
