Job Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Junior Accountant to join our team in Shenbagaramanputhoor. In this role, you will assist with daily accounting tasks, including booking entries, verifying invoices, managing petty cash, and reconciling accounts. You will work closely with the senior finance team to ensure smooth, accurate, and timely financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Daily Ledger Entries: Record day-to-day financial transactions, sales/purchase vouchers, and bank entries into accounting software (Tally / ERP).
- Invoice & Payment Verification: Verify vendor bills, prepare payment vouchers, and cross-check invoices with purchase orders.
- Petty Cash Management: Maintain and reconcile the daily petty cash register with supporting receipts.
- Reconciliation: Perform routine bank reconciliations and verify party statement balances.
- Documentation & Filing: Organize and maintain systematic physical and digital files for tax invoices, receipts,



and audit support.
- Statutory Assistance: Help gather data and reports for GST, PF, ESI, and monthly tax filings under senior guidance.

Qualifications & Experience

- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field.
- Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in basic accounting or bookkeeping (Freshers with robust Tally knowledge may also apply).
- Software Skills: Hands-on experience with Tally ERP/Prime and MS Excel (basic formulas, VLOOKUP).
- Location Requirement: Must be currently residing in Shenbagaramanputhoor or immediate neighboring locations (e.g., Aralvaimozhi, Thovalai, Nagercoil vicinity) for easy daily commuting.

Candidate Profile & Skills

- Basic understanding of accounting principles, debits/credits, and GST rules.
- Good numerical ability and attention to detail.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability.

Pay: ₹9,606.07 - ₹26,990.27 per month
