Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and maintain anesthesia machines, monitors, and related equipment before, during, and after surgical procedures.
- Assist anesthesiologists during induction, maintenance, and recovery from anesthesia.
- Ensure the availability and proper functioning of anesthesia drugs, airway equipment, and emergency resuscitation equipment.
- Perform routine checks, cleaning, calibration, and troubleshooting of anesthesia equipment.
- Prepare IV lines, airway devices, and monitoring accessories as directed.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, consumables, and inventory.
- Follow infection prevention and sterilization protocols.
- Assist in emergency situations, including CPR and code blue responses.
- Coordinate with surgeons, nursing staff, and OT personnel to ensure smooth workflow.
- Report equipment malfunctions and arrange timely repairs or replacements.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, NABH and patient safety protocols.
