About Mentra

Mentra is an AI-powered mental health and emotional wellbeing platform built for the GCC and emerging markets. We combine generative AI with evidence-based psychological frameworks (CBT, DBT) to make emotional support accessible, affordable, and stigma-free — through an always-available AI companion, guided journaling, mood tracking, and emotional insights.

The Role

You will own growth end-to-end: acquisition, activation, retention, and the analytics behind all of it. This is a hands-on operator role — you'll be the one running campaigns, building lifecycle flows, and pulling cohort data yourself, using AI tools as your force multiplier. You'll work directly with the founder and shape how a mental health brand earns trust in the GCC.

This is not a role for someone who needs a team under them to get things done. It's for someone who wants full ownership of a growth engine and the leverage of modern AI tooling to operate like a team of five.

What You'll Own

- Growth strategy & prioritization: Identify the highest-leverage channels for a consumer wellness product in Saudi Arabia and the UAE; run disciplined experiments and kill what doesn't work
- Performance marketing: Plan and manage paid acquisition across Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, and Google — creative testing, budget allocation, CAC/LTV discipline
- SEO & content distribution: Build our organic engine, including the underserved Arabic-language search opportunity in mental health and wellness (working with Arabic content freelancers/localizers)
- Lifecycle & retention: Design and build onboarding, email, and push flows in tools like Braze or Customer.io; retention is the metric that matters most for our product
- Analytics: Own our Mixpanel/Amplitude setup — funnels, cohorts, retention curves — and turn data into decisions
- AI-leveraged operations:



Use AI tools (content generation, creative production, automation via Zapier/Make) to run lean and move fast
- B2B support: Build landing pages, collateral, and demand-gen support for our university, corporate, and insurer partnerships

What We're Looking For

- 4–7 years in growth or performance marketing for a consumer app, ideally subscription-based (health, wellness, fitness, edtech, or similar)
- Proven ownership of a full growth funnel with real numbers you can talk through: CAC, activation rates, D7/D30 retention, payback periods
- Hands-on proficiency with Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, TikTok Ads, and at least one lifecycle platform (Posthog, Braze, Customer.io, CleverTap, MoEngage)
- Strong analytics skills — comfortable in Mixpanel or Amplitude, and in a spreadsheet
- Demonstrated use of AI tools in your workflow — you should be able to show us how you use them to multiply your output
- Excellent written English; comfort working async with a GCC-based founder

Strong Advantages

- Experience marketing to GCC or MENA audiences, or working with Gulf-facing brands
- Experience in health, mental health, or other trust-sensitive categories
- Familiarity with Arabic-language marketing (you don't need to speak Arabic, but you need to know how to brief and manage those who do)
- Early-stage startup experience — you've built growth from zero, not optimized an existing machine
