Summarized Purpose:

We are offering an outstanding opportunity to join Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Engineer III, Software Quality Assurance. In this role, you will drive testing initiatives through advanced manual testing practices on advanced projects ranging from generative AI applications to clinical trial technology, partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver results.

Education/Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- 5 years of experience in software testing.
- Industry certifications such as ISTQB, CSTAS, or CPTA are advantageous

Major Job Responsibilities:

- Robust proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, TOSCA)
- Experience with API testing, backend validation, and database testing
- Expertise in programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub)
- Proficiency in test management tools (JIRA, ALM, qTest)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and microservices architecture
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities




- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Knowledge of GxP compliance and software validation in regulated environments
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
- Ability to work independently and lead testing initiatives
- Strong documentation and reporting skills
- Design and implement comprehensive test strategies
- Lead test planning, execution, and defect management
- Perform API and data validation testing
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance
- Collaborate with stakeholders to improve product quality

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

- Experience with automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, etc.)
- Programming skills (Python/Java/JavaScript)
- API testing experience
- Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices

Working Hours:

- India: 01:00 PM to 10:00 PM IST
- Philippines: 03:30 PM to 12:30 AM PHT
