JD for Language Translator ( required for Hindi & Gujarati language)
Job Summary -
We are looking for a Translator to interpret written pieces in different languages, making sure to maintain their original meaning, format and tone.
Translator responsibilities include reading and thoroughly understanding the context of given material, using specialized dictionaries and translation tools and proofreading finished pieces of work.
Responsibilities and Duties -
- Translation of Documents/Data in Gujarati/Hindi language, while maintaining the original meaning and tone of the given Data.
- Thoroughly understanding the context of the material and using specialized dictionaries and translation tools, setting the original content in the given format.
- Post translation, do proof reading of the documents.
- Follow up with internal team members to ensure translation meets their needs.
Requirements
Qualification - Diploma/Graduation/Postgraduate ( In Hindi or Gujarati is preferable )
Additional Qualification - Good writing and reading skills in Hindi and Gujarati is preferred.
Knowledge of Agriculture field will be add on.
Work Experience requirement - Fresher / 1 - 2 years of work experience.
Skill requirement -
- Proven work experience as a Translator.
- Excellent proofreading skills with the ability to identify grammar, spelling and punctuation errors.
- Valuable knowledge of content editing tools. Familiarity with translation software.
- Must have time-management skills.
- Additional certification in Linguistics is a plus.
