Material Coordinator

To ensure safe, reliable and productive supply of materials and equipment to (and from) internal customers to enable them to carry out planned and emergent activities.

EXCELLENCE

Apply continuous improvement techniques to material supply processes to maximise reliability and reduce material waste.

Identify and recommend master data cleansing, alignment and improvement.

TECHNICAL

-
Demonstrate sound understanding of end-to-end processes, systems and risks & controls related to materials management.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

-
Act as the materials/transportation focal point for internal stakeholders for allocated assets.

-
Carry out demand planning and material tracking in conjunction with stakeholders.

-
Liaise with stakeholders to ensure materials are tracked for delivery on time, identifying and

addressing actual & potential issues.

-
Work with Procurement to ensure that material is delivered by vendors or made available for collection by freight forwarder or 3PL in accordance with required delivery dates.





-
Support materials returns in accordance with reverse logistics processes.

-
Support rotable refurbishment process.

-
Generate materials status reports and resolve queries on weekly or ad-hoc basis as needed.

-
Facilitate campaign closeouts.

-
Ensure materials in staging that are no longer required are addressed.

-
Develop strong working relationships with stakeholders including maintenance, warehousing and purchasing team to promote inventory optimisation.
