Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Electrical Panel Estimation Engineer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and quotations for LT/HT electrical panels, including MCC, PCC, APFC, AMF, Synchronizing Panels, Distribution Boards, and other custom-built panels. This position requires a solid understanding of electrical schematics, BOMs, vendor pricing, and tendering processes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze client requirements, tender documents, electrical SLDs, and technical specifications.
- Prepare detailed Bill of Materials (BOM) for LT panels based on drawings and scope.
- Estimate costs for raw materials (e.g., copper, sheet metal, busbars), switchgear, control components, wiring, labor, and overheads.
- Liaise with the design, procurement, and sales teams to ensure accurate pricing.
- Obtain vendor quotations for major components (Schneider, Siemens, ABB, Mitsubishi, etc.).
- Evaluate previous project costs for benchmark estimation.
- Prepare and submit techno-commercial proposals,



including cost break-up and margin analysis.
- Optimize design/costing to increase competitiveness while meeting compliance.
- Support the sales and BD teams with costing inputs and technical clarifications.
- Update costing database and pricing trends regularly.
- Coordinate with the production team for feedback on actual vs. estimated costing.

Required Skills & Competencies:

- Strong knowledge of electrical panels (LT/HT), power distribution, and control systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and costing software/tools.
- Understanding of IS/IEC standards, OEM catalogs, and power system layouts.
- Excellent mathematical and analytical abilities.
- Strong negotiation and vendor coordination skills.
- Positive communication skills for internal and client interactions.

Educational Qualification:

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

Preferred Industry Experience:

- Electrical Panel Manufacturing
- EPC / Turnkey Electrical Contractors
- Industrial Electrification Projects
- OEM / Channel Partners (like Siemens, L&T;, Schneider, Mitsubishi)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
