Shree Ambey Jewellers is seeking a seasoned, result-driven Store Manager with a strong background in the jewellery retail industry. You will lead our team at our [Insert Branch: Howrah/Baguiati/Jyangra] showroom, acting as the primary custodian of our brand’s reputation. We are looking for a leader who understands the nuances of the jewellery business—from managing high-value inventory and volatile metal markets to delivering a sophisticated, trust-based shopping experience for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

- Showroom Operations: Command all daily showroom functions, ensuring the highest standards of visual merchandising, security, and cleanliness.
- Jewellery Sales Management: Drive showroom performance by coaching staff on advanced jewellery sales techniques, upselling, and handling high-ticket transactions.
- Inventory & Gold Management: Oversee meticulous stock management, including daily gold weight reconciliation, stone verification, and regular physical audits.
- Expert Transactions: Supervise and verify complex calculations involving gold purity, daily market rates, making charges, and GST to ensure absolute billing accuracy.
- Customer Relationship Management: Cultivate a loyal client base by managing personalized services and ensuring prompt resolution of any customer grievances.




- Performance Reporting: Generate and analyze daily/monthly sales reports, profit margins, and sales contribution data using MS Excel.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Experience: Minimum 2 years of dedicated experience in the Jewellery Retail sector is mandatory.
- Product Knowledge: Deep understanding of gold jewellery, diamonds, precious stones, and hallmarking standards.
- Leadership: Demonstrated history of managing retail teams in a jewellery workplace.
- Technical Proficiency: knowledge of jewellery billing software and Microsoft Excel (for inventory/sales tracking).
- Communication: Exceptional verbal proficiency in Bengali, Hindi, and English.
- Integrity: Unwavering commitment to business ethics and high-security standards.

Compensation & Employment Details

- Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
- Pay: Competitive salary package commensurate with your depth of experience in the jewellery industry.
- Location: In-person (Baguiati Branch)

Pay: Up to ₹20,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Baguiati, Kolkata, West Bengal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
