Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager – Maintenance with 10–12 years of experience in industrial maintenance. The ideal candidate should hold a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering and possess strong expertise in the maintenance of CNC machines, VMC machines, Injection Moulding (IM) machines, and Extrusion machines. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring maximum equipment uptime, implementing preventive and predictive maintenance practices, and leading maintenance activities to support uninterrupted production.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, execute, and monitor preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Ensure maximum machine availability with minimum downtime.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, control, and automation-related issues in manufacturing equipment.
- Maintain and repair CNC, VMC, Injection Moulding (IM), and Extrusion machines.
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure smooth plant operations.
- Lead and supervise maintenance technicians and contractors.
- Develop maintenance schedules, SOPs, and maintenance checklists.
- Monitor machine performance and recommend improvements for reliability and efficiency.
- Manage spare parts inventory and ensure timely procurement of critical components.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, statutory regulations, and company policies.
- Support installation, commissioning, and modification of new machinery and equipment.
- Maintain maintenance records, reports,



and equipment history.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as TPM, Kaizen, 5S, and root cause analysis.

Required Qualifications

- Education: B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: 10–12 years of experience in maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on experience with:
- CNC Machines
- VMC Machines
- Injection Moulding (IM) Machines
- Extrusion Machines

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, PLCs, VFDs, servo drives, and control panels.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve machine breakdowns efficiently.
- Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance methodologies.
- Familiarity with TPM, Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen.
- Good understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Strong leadership, planning, and team management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and maintenance documentation.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Experience

- Experience in automotive, plastics, engineering, or manufacturing industries.
- Exposure to ISO, IATF, or other quality management systems.
- Experience in utility maintenance (compressors, DG sets, chillers, transformers, etc.) will be an added advantage.

- Team productivity and continuous improvement initiatives.

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
