Job Summary Parambil Health Care is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Lab Technician to join our healthcare team. The candidate will be responsible for performing laboratory tests, maintaining laboratory equipment, ensuring accurate reporting of results, and supporting quality patient care. Key Responsibilities * Collect, label, and process patient samples accurately. * Perform routine laboratory tests as per hospital protocols. * Maintain laboratory records, registers, and reports. * Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of specimens and laboratory waste. * Operate, clean, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment. * Follow
infection control, safety, and quality assurance procedures. * Report test results accurately and promptly to the concerned departments. * Monitor inventory of laboratory supplies and inform management of shortages. * Assist in internal and external quality control programs. * Maintain patient confidentiality and professional ethics at all times. * Coordinate with doctors, nurses,
and other healthcare staff when required. Requirements * Diploma/Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (BSc MLT/DMLT/BMLT) * Minimum 1 year of experience as a Lab Technician in a hospital or clinic * Knowledge of hematology, biochemistry and sample collection procedures. * Familiarity with laboratory equipment and quality control procedures. * Positive communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
